# MoneyShift

> Car news and week-long press car reviews by Thanasi Chalkiadakis, a Boston-based
> automotive journalist, NEMPA member, and founder of MoneyShift.

MoneyShift publishes car news most days and press vehicle reviews weekly. Every review
pairs a written article with a short-form video and scores the vehicle on a published
five-category rubric (Capability 30%, Daily livability 30%, Value 25%, Character 10%,
Feel 5%). Each review car is driven for about a week on Massachusetts roads, usually with
car seats in the back. Fuel economy is measured from real fill-ups and reported next to
the EPA rating. Specs are checked against manufacturer press materials, and every review
links its primary sources. Sponsored content is always labeled, and manufacturers never
see scores in advance. MoneyShift has more than 100,000 followers across Instagram,
